Lun Chau, PE, LEED AP

Lun is the founder of MLC Engineering, LLC.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.  She is a professional electrical engineer licensed in Oregon and Washington and certified as a LEED Accredited Professional. 

Lun is former president of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America Oregon Section.  She is member of BICSI, National Fire Protection Association, Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, International Association of Electrical Inspectors, Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs, National Society of Professional Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, Professional Engineers of Oregon and U.S. Green Building Council.

With over twenty some years of experience in all areas of electrical, technology and electronic safety & security systems design and construction, Lun has extensive expertise in lighting & controls, power service & distribution, emergency & standby power, photovoltaic solar, utility dispatchable standby generation, data, voice, CATV, intercom/paging, public address, media presentation, voice enhancement, clocks, nurse call, fire alarm & detection, security, emergency responder radio coverage and mass notification systems.  Lun has designed systems for all types of facilities including airports, auto dealerships, banks, churches, auditoriums, nurseries, schools K-12, colleges, universities, hospitals, dental & medical clinics, veterinary hospitals, libraries, nursing & retirement homes, clinical & research laboratories, pharmacies, high rise & office buildings, multi-use complexes, government facilites, restaurants, parking structures, retail, maintenance, parking structures, post offices, parks & recreational, auto & mechanical shops, museums, zoos, historical renovations, tenant improvements, etc.
